Justices rein in presidential appointment powers

In the first of two high-profile unanimous Supreme Court decisions, temporary appointments made by President Obama in 2012 were ruled illegal because Congress was not in recess. In the second, the justices struck down a 35-foot buffer zone prohibiting protests outside abortion clinics in Massachusetts.
