Civilians suffer as Israel intensifies strikes in Lebanon
Israel is stepping up its bombardment of Gaza and Lebanon as it wages a multi-front war against Hamas and Hezbollah. In southern Lebanon, an Israeli airstrike on a century-old market killed one person and wounded several others, as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu called for the withdrawal of U.N. peacekeepers from the region.
