News Wrap: U.S. to step up airstrikes against Taliban
In our news wrap Friday, the White House confirmed that U.S. airstrikes against Taliban targets in Afghanistan expand, and that American troops will join Afghan units on more missions -- though the U.S. will not be assuming direct combat roles.
