As Unrest Spreads, Syria Cracks Down on Protesters

After weeks of appearing immune to Arab world protests, Syria faced escalating unrest as soldiers opened fire on demonstrators in several cities. Jeffrey Brown discusses the protests with former U.S. ambassador to Syria Theodore Kattouf and democracy activist Ammar Abdulhamid, who was exiled from Syria in 2005 and writes the blog Syria Revolution Digest.
