Remembering activist and peacemaker Nelson Mandela
Nelson Mandela, the first black president of South Africa credited with ending apartheid there, died in Johannesburg on December 15, 2013. He was 95 years old.Mandela was revered worldwide for leading the anti-apartheid movement and not letting his nearly three decades in prison embitter him. Charlayne Hunter-Gault takes a look back at Nelson Mandela's life and legacy.
