Russian advance continues amid shelling of Ukrainian cities

Russian troops advance towards Kyiv – but are slowed by Ukrainian resistance. Meanwhile, violence continues in southern and eastern Ukraine with indiscriminate artillery shelling destroying civilian structures including a hospital and mosque.
