Millions face losing SNAP benefits as shutdown continues
As the government shutdown continues with no end in sight, millions of Americans are on the verge of losing access to SNAP. Many food aid groups feel the government is legally obligated to provide funding to SNAP, but the Trump administration claims it cannot use emergency funds to keep the program operating further during the shutdown.
