GOP works to block state amendments for abortion rights

In the year since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, voters in several states have shown up to overwhelmingly support abortion rights in ballot measures. Future efforts to enshrine abortion access in state constitutions could soon face higher hurdles as Republican-controlled legislatures are trying to make it harder.
