Stiffer bonds keeping some migrant families apart longer
As the Trump administration insists it’s making every effort to bring families who were separated at the U.S. and Mexico border back together, immigration attorneys told NewsHour’s Dan Bush something else. Federal judges are increasing the cost of bonds, in many cases by thousands of dollars, which parents must pay to leave their detention centers. Bush joins Lisa Desjardins for more.
