Trump deports more immigrants amid battle with judiciary
The State Department deported more immigrants to El Salvador over the weekend. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the removals a “successful counter-terrorism operation.” It comes after a federal judge had blocked the administration from invoking a rare wartime authority to deport hundreds of migrants without due process.
