AMA president warns against preventive services panel cuts

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reportedly intends to remove all 16 members of the United States Preventive Services Task Force. The highly influential panel plays a key role in determining what treatments insurers must cover and makes recommendations about care that are followed by doctors across the country.
