Trump ends one Obama ‘birther’ rumor by starting another

After years of stoking the so-called “birther” controversy, Donald Trump finally acknowledged that President Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen. But then Trump falsely accused Hillary Clinton of starting the rumors about Obama’s birthplace. Clinton and members of the Congressional Black Caucus attacked Trump for disrespecting the president.
