Turmoil and terrorism breed economic uncertainty for Turkey

Increasing terrorism by the Islamic State group and the PKK have driven Turkey into its worst tourism slump ever, a major sector of the economy. International concerns about political uncertainty, as well as a drive to increase Islam's place in public life, are also contributing to the economy's decline.
