Biden touts accomplishments as he launches 2024 campaign
President Joe Biden formally announced that he is running for a second term. In Tuesday's announcement, Biden echoed familiar themes from his 2020 campaign. He said the country is still in a battle for the soul of the nation and that democracy is at stake in 2024.
