President Biden’s Address to the Nation
President Joe Biden will give an Oval Office address Thursday on the U.S. response to the Israel-Hamas war. Biden's speech comes as he seeks additional funding for Israel and for Ukraine, and follows his trip to Israel, where he helped broker a deal to allow some humanitarian aid into Gaza. He will also discuss America's response to the fighting between Russia and Ukraine, the White House said.
PBS NewsHour's full evening coverage begins with its 6:00 p.m. ET broadcast, followed by special digital coverage at 7:00 p.m. ET. Biden's address will begin at 8 p.m. ET, and will be followed by reporting and analysis from the PBS NewsHour's Lisa Desjardins, Nick Schifrin and Laura Barrón-López.
