Parents Sue LAUSD | September 24

Season 1 Episode 239

On the September 24 edition of the Reporter Roundup, KPCC reporters discuss a possible cause of the Bobcat Fire, parents suing LAUSD and L.A.’s response to the indictment related to Breonna Taylor’s death.

Officials investigating how the Bobcat Fire started have a new lead to follow with new information released today. Sharon McNary explains how a brief outage on Southern California Edison power lines near Cogswell Dam could be related — or not.

Parents of LAUSD children have filed a lawsuit over the way the district has handled distance learning. Carla Javier shares details on the plaintiffs and their experiences with online school thus far.

People gathered in downtown L.A. yesterday in response to the single indictment for “wanton endangerment” against an officer in the Breonna Taylor case. Robert Garrova discusses what he saw and heard.
