Who's Hit Hardest by COVID-19 in L.A.?

Who’s Getting COVID-19? 
During the COVID-19 peak in July, Latinos in Los Angeles County had four times the number of new cases as white residents. Jackie Fortier reports on how demographics are shifting in new case reports. 

Unemployment Freeze 
New fraud-fighting tools implemented by the Employment Development Department are freezing some unemployment recipient accounts. David Wagner says some of the people impacted are victims of fraud themselves. 

Vietnamese Voters 
An intense campaign is happening in the race for California’s 48th congressional district. Josie Huang reports on why Vietnamese American voters key in this election.
