What happened to this young Jamestown colonist?

Archaeologists excavating the site of an early American colony discovered something alarming: the remains of a young woman dating back to 1609. She was one of the colonists of the infamous Jamestown, an early settlement where provisions quickly dwindled during the first winter in the new world.
