Inmates Hospitalized After 2008 Cell Extraction at L.A. Jail
Newly released footage of a 2008 cell extraction at Men's Central Jail, shows 20 inmates being forcibly removed from their single man cells. Officers used tasers and physical force to remove the inmates who refused to cooperate in protest over alleged violence against the prisoners. Of the 20 inmates, 19 were hospitalized.
