SoCal Connected Wins Five Emmys

SoCal Connected, KCET's hard-hitting weekly news program, won in five of the six categories in which it was nominated at the 62nd Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards last weekend, taking honors for information segment "A Soldier's Story," for feature "The Year of Living Dangerously," for crime and social issues with "Cannabis Cowboys," plus best photographer and best writer. SoCal Connected returns for its third season in October.
