History Detectives: WPA Mural Studies Wednesday at 9 a.m. PST on KLCS
FDR's New Deal programs put people back to work including many in various arts projects. But what happened to these important pieces of our nation's history? This "History Detectives" contributor has inherited some paintings that may be part of this lost work. Created by her aunt, Thelma Johnson Streat, she believes they were mural studies. Did any of these studies become murals and do any of them still exist?
