Seth Ronquillo is a fourth-year undocumented student studying film and linguistics at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is the co-chair of UCLA IDEAS, an on-campus organization that advocates for undocumented immigrants. His thesis documentary at UCLA film school, "US," chronicles his family's undocumented immigrant narrative after his dad went back to the Philippines in 2011 with no guarantee of returning to the U.S. Seth seeks to use filmmaking as a tool to portray the right of undocumented immigrant families to be together and live free from the threat of separation.
