CTD: “WE ARE SACRED” PROJECT

One initiative currently re-examining our past is the “We Are Sacred” project. Its mission: to help further identify men and women who survived slavery and had their portraits taken nearly a century ago. Their photographs are now posted online and accompanied by a simple question: do you know these men and women?
