COVID-19 Trends, Rally Reports | August 31

Season 1 Episode 221

On the August 31 edition of the Reporter Roundup, KPCC reporters discuss COVID-19 trends in L.A. County, college dorms and violence at a Trump rally this weekend.

The state unveiled a framework to determine which businesses can re-open based on each county’s COVID-19 rates. Jackie Fortiér talks about where L.A. County stands.

Classes at Southern California colleges have gone virtual due to COVID-19 this semester. However, Adolfo Guzman-Lopez reports thousands of students are still living in on-campus in dorms.

The LAPD has released more information about reports that someone fired a gun during a Trump rally in Woodland Hills over the weekend. Frank Stoltze shares the latest.
