Rajiv Chandrasekaran spent time there during the war as Baghdad bureau chief for "The Washington Post." He later wrote the critically acclaimed book "Imperial Life in the Emerald City: Inside Iraq's Green Zone" about the Americans' botched attempts to restore order after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein.
