Michael Apted on His Documentary Subjects Nearly 50 Years Later
Michael Apted directed the Bond film "The World is Not Enough." He gave us "Coal Miner's Daughter" and "Gorillas in the Mist." It began in 1964 when they were 7 years old, and every seven years, there's been an update. The "kids" are middle-aged now. The latest installment, "56 Up," opens Friday.
