Your Turn to Care: The Transition to Assisted Living

Sonia Alvarado recently had to put her 78-year old mother, Natalia, in an assisted living facility after Natalia wandered away from home. It was becoming too stressful to keep Natalia, who suffers from Alzheimer's, at home. It's been a financial burden because her mother doesn't qualify for government assistance. Finding a facility they could afford was no easy task.
