Memories of the March

Linda Chapin Remembers The March

The fight for civil rights has been at the heart of Linda Chapin’s adult life. Growing up in the South, Chapin remembers her parents talking about civil rights as a moral issue of right, wrong and fairness. She attended the March on Washington on her 22nd birthday, unaware of the impact it would have on her life 50 years later.
