Have you ever seen a marbled murrelet? It's a little seabird that's also called "the enigma of the Pacific." If it you haven't seen one yet you may be out of luck. It's been known to nest in Los Angeles County, but none have been spotted for the past few years.
The marbled murrelet is classified as "threatened" on the Endangered Species List and it may be upgraded to endangered.
